Internship vacancy: Project assistant at the Demeter-International EU
Liaison Office in Brussels

Would you like to work as an intern in Brussels?
Core tasks of the intern September – December 2018

Main task:

  • To assist in the preparation of the final event of the three-year project
  • Promoting Organic Plant Breeding in Europe’ (a joint project of Demeter-International office in Brussels’ and other NGOs in Europe)
  • Assist in the organization of Demeter International activities of advocacy work in the field of organic farming and applied Anthroposophy (i.e. biodynamic farming, anthroposophical medicine)
  • To participate in EU conferences in the field of agricultural policy especially with regard to organic farming and write reports about these meetings
  • To support the communication of our office within our internal networks as well as with EU officials and other NGOs (newsletter, administrative and PR work)

Requirements:

  • English (oral and written) C1, French and German is an assent
  • Background: political sciences, agriculture, nutrition or any related field
  • Very good organization and communication skills

We offer:

  • Accommodation
  • Internship duration 4 months. Monthly working hours: 50hs with 2,5 days off per month
